Virtual Villagers 2

This is a definite classic. I played this when I was younger, but got bored of it because I didn't like waiting for things to be accomplished. Years later, I still don't like that, but it's still a classic.

The story is basically this: A couple of villagers pretty much know every nook and cranny of their island except for a little cave. They went in there, however, they fell and landed in the island the game is in, called Isola. A couple of children are in there and the majority of them cannot work, except for one. The villagers decide to help them survive and perhaps make the island strive. Sounds a bit like Harvest Moon, what with the previous sentence and due to the fact they're new to the newly found island. Nothing really special, but it works.

Well, the graphics is pretty much pixel-looking. It's really bad, but if it changed, it wouldn't be Virtual Villagers anymore.

The gameplay itself... it's VERY addicting. You help the villagers survive, research, collect items/mushrooms, build things, and more. Heck, even random events happen that can spell doom for a villager or increase skills or something good or bad. Things can still happen after you're not playing the game, so it makes you worry. 'What's happening to my village right now?' Oh, gosh, gameplay is DEFINITELY Virtual Villagers' strongest point.

Overall, pretty fun, nothing new in the storyline, but heck, don't expect anything deep in this game. Just plain old, plain old, Virtual Villager fun. 8/10 for me.
